Events:
For this Month Episode we pay homage to
the game changer that is SUNDAY IMBIZO! Celebrating its 6th Anniversary this April.
SUNDAY IMBIZO AS A
CONCEPT WAS BORN IN 2009...and the aim of its birth was to create a musical
vibe on a SUNDAY! In the last 6 years and accounting…Sunday Imbizo has managed
to deliver on the promise to revolutionize the Sunday nightlife experience and
has remained a consistent cog in the house music spectrum at large. On the very
first delivery on Sunday 6 April 2009, the legendary diminutive Vinny Da Vinci
was the first to take a SHORT LEFT, and a fitting selector to lay the
groundwork. Many followed after him; the likes of Black Coffee, Culoe de Song,
Vick Lavender, Trinidadian Deep, Ralf gum, Christos, Fistaz Mixwell, Ganyane,
Lulo Café, The Naked DJ, Glen Lewis, Black Motion, Nastee Nev to mention but a
few. We are proud to say that we have achieved our goals beyond our imagination
in our 6 years of existence. We look forward to more successful years filled
with consistency, relevance and MUSIC!
