Greetings peeps!!
It's been a minute since the last interaction of 3rd eye,where we take a look into matters that have major talking points in our social activity...But here we are,,back and about to tackle another matter like we play for Amabokoboko ...

Alot has occurred since our debut "3rd eye" view,,but none has shook the mzansi land like the SABC Radio introducing the 90% South African music quota!

While such a drastic decision will always raise eyebrows and many aplenty talking points,,fact of the matter is,if you tune in to radio now,,you will hear home brewed music that you would instantly recognize and say it's mzansi made..Though arguments may arise about being an unfair rule and that there is always a gap to accommodate international music as well,which is true,,but now let's be proud that there are musicians locally that we owe this rule to,alot of artists that have bent their back in trying to make south African music be recognized internationally yet locally they were on a limited airplay stance..I could make a proud example of my fellow homeboys,the likes of Black motion,Uhuru,and Dj Maphorisa being one prime example...When you go to neighbouring countries these guys are instantly recognized and known,Dj Maphorisa recently made waves by having a hand in producing a song for the now best selling hip hop artist,'Drake'....What these guys have in common is coming from humble beginnings to stardom..they never had the luxury of best studio equipment but look at them now...
These guys will now bring hope to the young up and coming musicians,producers,performers that regardless of where you start,its how badly you want it that will see you succeed..Well now with the help in hand of the rule that is,,because now its a chance for every music maker to send through their music to the stations,its a chance now for more airplay of artist's music..it's a chance for more sales of albums to sky rocket...

Sure we will miss hearing the international artists..but it's great for our culture..it's great for our artists..it's great for our music industry,it will be great for their families..and most importantly it will be great for our ears...

It's great news for local artists, who stand to profit from a boost in sales of their music.

And for many listeners too, the decision seems to have struck the right note.

And with this said and done many applaud the decision..i mean look,after so many years we even got a chance to listen to our very own Modern soul's  Dj Kanu on the biggest radio station in the country 'Metro fm'...look we already reaping the rewards...

Nothing is more embarrassing than ordering something you have no clue about with confidence, and when asked its origins, contents, and how it is done, the answer you give is a sound of a scratched cd companied with pop of eyes. We don’t want a situation where you are out with your “blesser” and when you are offered the beverage menu you just go for any cocktail that you think sounds like an energy booster for all night love making (trying to impress the “blesser”).

The origins of cocktail is not clear as the Americans claim to be an entirely their invention but some went on to question the statement saying it can’t be, as its roots are British.  And there are different stories on the inventor of cocktail and the word itself. What most reports say in common is that its invention stretches back to 18^th century (same period some of the “blessers” where born). As alcohol was prohibited to be drank in certain public areas, it was used as a front to hide the alcohol content from the law enforcements.

A cocktail is a mixture spirits, sugar, water and bitters to create a flavourful drink, whether it is highballs, punches, fizzes or sours. The different kind of categories (as mentioned in the previous sentence) will be dealt with in details in our upcoming articles, for now we hope we have installed some history knowledge about a cocktail that will be usefull in impressing the “blessers” not only with looks.
